AAIS is pleased to announce a call for applications for the America-Italy Society of Philadelphia Award for contingent faculty and/or independent scholars (non-tenure track), who will present their research at the AAIS conference in Philadelphia, March 13-15, 2025.
AAIS will award one grant of $500.00.
Please read the following instructions carefully, then use this form to submit the material listed below by midnight Febraury 1, 2025:
• Your conference paper.
• A brief statement about how presenting your paper at AAIS Annual Conference in Philadelphia will further your research.
• Your CV.
• A letter of support to your candidacy from your department chair or equivalent (please see the submission form for details).
• A brief statement explaining how this award will help you traveling to AAIS Annual Conference in Philadelphia.
• A letter or email of acceptance to the AAIS Annual Conference in Philadelphia from the panel's organizer(s) - this can also be a PDF of the acceptance email.
Full consideration will be given to applications that arrive by the deadline.

Membership is valid through the calendar year (January through December).
PLEASE NOTE:
- If you are NOT currently a member, please go to this page and apply for a 2025 membership.
You can still apply for the award now, but you must then have an active membership in 2025 to be considered since Awards are granted exclusively to members in good standing.
