Journal Italian Culture
Italian Culture is the official publication of the American Association for Italian Studies and is currently housed at the University of Minnesota and Cornell University. Its interdisciplinary scope reflects the broad and diverse interests of the Association's members, offering subscribers scholarly articles on Italian linguistics, history, literature, cinema, politics, philosophy, folklore, popular culture and migration as well as on Italy's influence on other cultures. The journal also features articles on comparative literature and cultural studies.
Contributions to Italian Culture range from the medieval period through the Renaissance to contemporary queer studies, feminist writing, film, and postcolonial women's writing. Although Italian Culture has devoted significant attention to topics in modern and contemporary literature, this is by no means its exclusive focus. Italian Culture is a multidisciplinary journal that welcomes reflections on new methods and ongoing debates in the field.
